Job Duties

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items; refer to Menu Descriptions
  • Prepare all foods according to established recipe form sheets and menu presentation spec. sheets, ensuring proper portion sizes and plate presentations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and cooperate with co-workers, working as a team player to satisfy every guest.
  • Check schedule and work all assigned shifts, reporting prepared to work at the assigned time.
  • Maintain safe and clean work areas; practice Clean-As-You-Go procedures throughout all shifts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of proper equipment operation; refer to Equipment Operation Guide.
  • Maintain ability to work all areas of Hotline; assisting other stations and/or co-workers whenever possible.
  • Maintain ability and availability to work Banquets or other special dining events.
  • Assist with Buffet duties, including set-up, serving, maintaining stock levels, and break-down.
  • Perform special duties as assigned.
  • Set-up and stock station at beginning of every shift; maintain a par stock of all necessary products and ingredients.
  • Check Daily Prep List and Banquet Sheets; prepare assigned products as directed.
  • Check Daily Specials and meet with Supervisor to determine needs for upcoming shift.
  • Follow established Knife Handling Procedures at all times.
  • Promote efficiency by preparing food properly, maintaining portion control, and eliminating waste.
  • Process order slips accurately and timely; note any special instructions.
  • Prepare re-orders as requested and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of all Walk-ins and freezer units.
  • Follow established storage and rotation procedures for all products.
  • Close station properly at end of shift; re-stock accordingly, mark and store product appropriately.

Requires:

One to two years experience in high volume restaurant kitchen.

Our hours will increase during the busy holiday season, with opportunities to work 32–40 hours per week. Candidates must have flexible availability and be available to work during the holiday season, including weekends and holidays as needed.
