The role includes working primarily in outpatient settings, with some SNF and acute care responsibilities. Candidates must have one year of experience outside of clinical training. First-time travelers are welcome, but must be ready to adapt quickly. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The manager creates the weekly schedule. There will be 8-14 patients seen per day, encompassing a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Common cases include orthopedics, neurology, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, high school injuries, work-related injuries, and sports rehabilitation. The environment also involves wound care and exposes staff to a variety of cases typical of a small rural hospital. Rehabilitation aides will be available, with an experienced PTA on hand. The charting system used is MEDITECH. Scrubs do not have a specific color requirement; casual professional attire is acceptable.
