Restaurant Kitchen Manager At Henhouse Cafe job

Henhouse Café is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. We are a fast-paced breakfast and lunch restaurant that values strong leadership, teamwork, consistency, and accountability.

This is a hands-on position. Our Kitchen Manager will work alongside the BOH team, including working the line and stepping into different kitchen positions as needed. We are looking for someone who leads by example and is actively involved in daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Experience KM in a similar kitchen leadership role

• Ability to work and manage all BOH stations

• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a BOH team

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all BOH staff

• Ensure recipes, portions, presentation, and food preparation standards are consistently followed

• Manage inventory, ordering, food costs, and waste

• Create and manage the BOH schedule based on business needs

• Ensure prep lists are completed and the kitchen is properly prepared for each shift

• Maintain proper food rotation and FIFO procedures

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, safety, and efficiency

• Ensure compliance with health department and food safety requirements

• Communicate effectively with management and FOH leadership
