The Chick-fil-A Kitchen Manager has the overall responsibility for operations of the kitchen including food safety, financial management, restaurant maintenance, cost control & analysis, inventory management, team management and ensuring we provide superior service, quality products and service to our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain Chick-fil-A mission, vision and values and ensures brand standards are executed.
  • Controls food cost, by following inventory management systems, managing BOH labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Ensures excellent levels of customer service and properly handles guest complaints/concerns.
  • Responsible for talent management, including but not limited to, staff selection, development, retention, and promotion.
  • Motivates and inspires team members to achieve goals.
  • Maintains compliance with all state, local and federal regulations, safety and food quality standards.

  • Ability to handle fast paced, high volume restaurant environments.
  • Ability to increase store sales and profitability through operational improvement.
  • Must be Serv-Safe certified
  • Ability to pass pre-employment (post-offer) background check.
  • Ability to work variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/ or holidays.

Education and Experience

  • At least 2 years experience as a Kitchen Manager in the restaurant industry preferred
  • ServSafe Certified

Working Conditions

  • Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery when needed.
  • Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
  • Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, iPads, computers, copiers, and other office equipment.
