As a Kitchen Manager, you’ll help oversee daily kitchen operations, coach and develop Team Members and leaders, uphold food safety and operational standards, and contribute to a culture built around accountability, teamwork, urgency, and servant leadership.

Your Role as a Leader

  • Oversee and support smooth Back of House kitchen operations during high-volume shifts

  • Coach, develop, and hold Team Members and leaders accountable to Chick-fil-A’s operational and food safety standards

  • Build a positive, high-accountability kitchen culture focused on teamwork and consistency

  • Maintain high standards for food quality, speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and operational execution

  • Support kitchen systems, including prep, breading, equipment/machines, dishes, truck/inventory, and food safety procedures

  • Delegate tasks and support team execution during fast-paced operations

  • Oversee kitchen organization, cleanliness, inventory, and operational efficiency

  • Partner closely with Front of House leadership to ensure strong communication and overall restaurant success

  • Review operational opportunities and help improve systems, efficiency, and team performance

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and the Owner/Operator to support restaurant growth and development

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1–2 years minimum of leadership, restaurant, kitchen, hospitality, or operations experience required

  • Kitchen leadership experience preferred, not required

  • Able to lead in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism

  • Strong communication, accountability, and leadership abilities

  • Able to coach, develop, and positively influence others

  • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and operational mindset

  • Able to prioritize tasks and execute effectively during busy operations

  • Basic computer and iPad proficiency required

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Open availability Monday–Saturday required
