Position Purpose |
Planning menus, preparing and cooking dishes, supervision of kitchen and Bistro staff, managing inventory, ensuring food safety and quality standards. |
Required Qualifications
Minimum requirements include one of the following:
- Two years’ experience in foodservice management. Prior experience in healthcare food service preferred.
- Experience managing staff and kitchen operations.
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments.
- This position requires experience with nutrition services in a nursing facility setting that includes topics integral to managing dietary operations including, but not limited to, foodborne illness, sanitation procedures, and food purchasing/receiving.
- Must also meet State requirements for food service managers or dietary managers.
