As a Chef Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of our seasoned chefs, learning the intricacies of meal preparation, kitchen management, and innovative cooking techniques that meet the high standards of Marriott’s culinary services. Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the supervision of senior chefs. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Participate in inventory management and ensure the availability of necessary kitchen supplies. Engage in learning activities to master culinary techniques and recipes. Collaborate with the culinary team to plan, prepare, and execute meals for guests. Adhere to Marriott’s standards for quality and service in food presentation and delivery. Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately. A keen interest in gastronomy and culinary arts. ServSafe Certification or any equivalent food handling certification is advantageous.
