Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay: $17-$19/h (based on experience)

Lock 34 Bar and Grill is a lively and welcoming restaurant known for our handcrafted, brick oven pizzas made with top-quality ingredients. We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Brick Oven Pizza Cooks to join our kitchen team and help us deliver consistently delicious pies to our guests.

Position Summary:

The Brick Oven Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing, assembling, and cooking pizzas in our brick oven. You’ll ensure each pizza is made to order, cooked properly, and meets our standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings following recipes and prep guidelines
• Operate and maintain a brick oven, ensuring correct cooking temperatures and timing
• Assemble pizzas accurately and consistently, paying attention to portion control and presentation
• Monitor product freshness and ensure food safety standards are followed
• Keep work area clean, stocked, and organized throughout service
• Assist with kitchen prep and cleaning as needed
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of kitchen experience; pizza-making and brick oven experience preferred
• Understanding of oven temperature control and pizza cooking times
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
