Join us for as a Prep Cook for our Activities department! This position is responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients.
Job Responsibilities:

Complete tasks on the supervisor’s prep list in order
-
Label and stock ingredients on accessible shelves
-
Wash, chop, and sort fruits, vegetables, meats, and dry supplies
-
Measure and prepare ingredients for recipes
-
Parboil food, reduce sauces, proof dough, and start various dishes
-
Prepare and deliver guest orders, including “to go” items, with speed and accuracy
-
Use kitchen equipment safely, following nutrition and sanitation standards
-
Communicate professionally with associates and clients per company standards
-
Respond to supervisor requests for various tasks, including dishwashing and sanitizing
-
Report spoilage or shortages immediately
-
Maintain walk-in coolers per standards and refrigerate perishable foods properly
-
Clean workstation and follow up with supervisor for closing instructions

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Education:
